These days, celebrity marriages rarely ever last. The marriage between Michael J Fox and Tracy Pollan are one of the few celebrity couples who continue to have a strong love for one another - even after 17 years of marriage. They had promised to be together in sickness and health, and that's the beauty of this marriage. Michael J Fox has Parkinson's disease, and has been battling the disease since 1991. The fact that Tracy and Michael fight this disease together is astonishing, and although the disease is physically deteriorating Michael's health, it is no where near the destruction of their love for one another. This - is true love.

I must admit that I like the details from the woman's face and I'm reffering mainly to the "holes" from her cheeks. Personally, I am a fan of traditional drawings which style I practice once in a while myself and I find your drawing quite realistic, though a little bit too simple. Still, the message you expressed throughout your deviation is very touching despite the simplicity of the technique. I hope I'll see more of your deviations and maybe we'll have a chat on this theme once.

There's no light inhere. The blue whispering waters of my spirit covered it all.
I love how the features on the couple's face become striking as one views the work. The color scheme is excellent and the orange couch seat looks soo inviting. :) Excellent work.
Thank you very much for your comment, and I see exactly what you mean. I have always had a passion for drawing, and I have been practising for many years. Aside from school, I have never had any real art lessons from anyone. I can even see for myself that my weakness in drawing is the lack of detail. So, I usually have intentions to draw simplistic, kind of a combination between realistic, and cartoonish. Yes, the most important thing is the message behind the piece. I am really greatful for your comment, and I am glad you like it! Thanks!

It really is a shame that this wonderful thing is so rare now-days.

I love your use of real media (prisma colors?) in this piece! The shading and detail are all so fine. I think it could be mistaken for an actual photo of the couple. I'd say you captured them on canvas rather well.

The concept shows that these two have firmly hung on to, and kept strong, the love they share over the years. And that's quite a message to convey! I have to admire them for this. :)

Again, great picture! And thanks for entering!
